Today I am . . . ?

What will I be today? I sit wondering, staring at the lacking title.

A teenage girl. Just a girl, swimming through the glop of adolescence. No, that's what I am every day.

A candle. Slowly burning, giving insufficient light and setting fingers of the weak-minded ablaze, until I slowly putter out into nonexistence. No, I don't think I want to be that today.

A Sim. Created for the sole purpose of being controlled under a cruel and underdeveloped mind ruling over my family in a tyranny that gives the dictator a pleasure not unlike a disease, slowly stealing all the time and energry from its host. No, I hardly want to believe that of my life.

A morning glory. A flower, closed until the dawn of a new day, when I unfold into a beautiful visual song that I sing for anyone to hear, rejoicing in the fresh start of a new day. No, I am unequivocally and unmistakably not the type who sings out the glories of early morning.

A student. Hardworking and willing to do the work set out for me that enables me to better grasp the subject of which I is learning. ..Are you kidding me?

I am none of these today.

But what am I?

My fingers search listlessly over each letter on my keyboard, looking at least for a syllable- a starting letter- to describe what I am.

I am burdened to the point of claustrophobia over this. The neutral tan walls surrounding my text give me hardly any room to breath, as each letter I press builds up the strength to push down one more line for my ponderings.

What if no one truly knows what I am? Is there no one I could go to for the answer?
Is there no decrepit old man awaiting my arrival at the top of a mountain, holding the answer to my life?

I am becoming desperate. What of Google? Surely not only can it find every other answer in life, but multiple answers so you can choose what best fits your world view. But the results are only riddles, and the answers are but simple and childish answers.

What am I today?

Brief Starshine on a Stained Corporeality

Since I have absolutely everything to do right now and the time to do it is slowly falling through the fingers of my allegorical mentality, I decided to take a few minutes and update.

Wow, it's been a while... I'll try to include everything worth talking about that's happened so far.

On December... 13th, I think it was? I, along with my alter-egoian chum Gwen, went to the homeschool winter formal. I had tons of jollity there, and I'm really tickled pink that I was able to go. I actually didn't attend to my own school's formal, merely because it was really not very appealing.

On the 19th, winter break officially began. But that day was a snow day, because Mr. Swoboda said there was going to be. He is the fellow who hasn't misadumbrated a snow day for the past score and five years. Snow days are glorious things.

On the 25th, the much anticipated best holiday of the year arrived, and along with it a great bounty of presents and a 50 inch telly. Needless to say, my family was quite jubilant over this gratuity.

And now, I am slowly squandering my ever-corroding supply of educationless diurnal courses via las comuptadoras y leer novelas y jafngildir kostir, lítill munur. How dwaas of me.

But then, سَهْل الكَسْر، وَسيم، أنيق are fallegur in the suvi as long as the honkbal doesn't run amokki jooksma.

Oh, how I zamilovanost translate.reference.com and all that that implies.

jäähyväiset! That's Finnish for adieu!

If you can't tell, I'm in a slightly sundry frame of mind.

I do enjoy my appellation for this post though. I thought of it after reading the title of a movie and thinking of the opposite of it... now it fits quite appropriately to my life, wouldn't you say?

-_- *sigh* I am frazzled.

Yesterday was fun.

I, with my mom and pop's permission, skipped half a day of school! I didn't skip the whole day because I had a math quiz 3rd hour.

But after 3rd hour, Tori picked me up and we visited KAT! I LOVED seeing everyone again, it made we want to become homeschooled every Monday.

I was able to sit in Mr G's older Choir class and Drama class, and I loved being able to experience that. It felt like last year again, except that last year was decades ago.

I'm planning on going to the KAT performence on the 11th, and I'm SOOO excited to see Rose of Treason on Friday and Saturday!!!

Well, this has been a short post...
until next time!!

Oh Alarm Clock, where art thou?

So, school starts at 7:50

Guess when I woke up yesterday?

Yep, you got it, 7:50.

ehhhhhhhhhh....

It was so freaky. I just laid there for a couple seconds waiting to wake up. Then I realized that kinda wasn't going to happen.

I woke up Dad (because I figured he could get me there the fastest) and we rushed over to the school. I went to my grade office and amazingly they gave me a note excusing my tardiness, but apparently Mr. Armitage didn't like it, cause he was like, shaking his head and stuff when he was reading it. Man, he was in such a bad mood that day. He kept going on about how horrible we are, and like, only 12 out of 26 people did the homework he had assigned us, which is a good reason to be mad. But he kept talking about how he can't be expected to teach us stuff when we don't turn in homework and we're not on time, and how we're totally wasting his time, when, you'll notice, he kept wasting his own time by lecturing us on the wrong stuff as opposed to Chemistry.
Did I ever say he was my favorite teacher? Ha, ha, well just kidding. If he hadn't gone on about it I probably wouldn't have cried, like I didn't go all out but he was really pushing it. I didn't fully recover from the risk of crying till like 3rd hour.

The rest of the day was just long. 6th and 7th hour were shortened because we had a pep assembly. We fought or nemesis, Portage Central, last night. I didn't go because I was already planning on sleeping over at a friend's house.
Hmmmm I wonder if we won or not... I should probably find out

Buhbye!

Anne's wedding and my thoughts on the event

Yesterday, one of the most beautiful things happened! Two people claimed undying love for each other, and intertwined their souls.

Oh, I'm happy!!!

The amazing Anne Stowe married Mr. Mike popped-up-out-of-nowhere Carr. :-D

The wedding was fun, I'm so glad I was able to be there! I went with the briefly reunited Tori and Peter. :-)

After the reunion during the meal, Tori and Pete were put with 3 newly married couple... hehe. I was at the table with Bethany, Arianna and Zach Lutes, Whitney Dennison, and Josh Moxon (who never actually sat down, he was taking pictures the whole time). It was lots of fun, and made me realized once again how much I miss homeschoolers!!!

I actually am seriously considering skipping school on some future Thursday to go to HPA rehearsal... hopefully soon! Or maybe they'll have to close school on a Thursday because of a construction error or the weather or something...!

On a different note, guess what came the other day at school for me! My school picture CD... FINALLY!

CHEESE ^-^
