Student Orientation

So, I said I'd update this blog with my highschool things... so here we go!

On the 28th PNHS had a freshman student orientation!

What basically happened was they took the freshmen in various small groups and toured the school. We were shown where different classrooms were going to be, where the cafeteria was, etc.
I'm not gonna remember any of that.
Anyway, luckily my fellow newly ex-homeschooled friend Melissa D is going to the same school, and I am so glad of that because she was the only one that I knew there. Everyone else already had there groups of friends from middle school, and Melissa and I were just kinda standing there, totally unknown by anybody. (Actually, Melissa does know a couple of other people there, but not well enough to go stay with them.)

And while all this was happening, the parents were in the auditorium doing a question & answer meeting. When the students were done with the tour, we went in the auditorium, and it all finished up at about 2.

Well... that's really all I've got to say! I have so much to do before school... and I am so exhausted! Hopefully I'll be able to get everything done then go to bed early..!

Rough Draft

These are some things I just jotted down a couple seconds ago. They will get tons of polishing, for sure.

Time

Tick. Tick. Tick. The clock continues its never-ending race around the world. Never stopping, never changing.
Tick. Tick. Tick. Startled by nothing, with no feelings for others. People are broken, set aflame. With no compassion, or moment of silence, the clock never stops.
Tick. Tick. Tick. Worlds may fall apart, but no matter how desperately people cry for more time, it is merciless.
Tick. Tick. Tick. It gives you one chance to live, one moment at a time. But no more than that. Time does not compromise.
Tick. Tick. Tick. Time does not reprimand, but lets your consequences roll out in front of you. It mocks you. Time is cruel.
Tick. Tick. Tick. Time only gives one chance. What are you doing with yours?

Inspiration

Oh, to be inspired.

To write a poem that grabs people minds.
And doesn’t let go for days.
With clever phrases and "thee"s and "thou"s
Which start a poetical craze.

Sun in summer or woes of winter.
Autumn’s red leaves or spring’s cheer.
Simple things are turned into wonders.
Turning words such as ball to sphere.

I wish I had that superpower.
Yes, how is it acquired?
All I’ve got is a silly old poem.
Whining ‘bout being inspired.

The beginning

Hello!
I've decided that this is where I'll write all the happenings in my life as a beginner in high school and all the twists and turns that come with it. I'm not sure how often I'll update this but I will fairly often, I'm sure.

I'm going to cut this short so I can personalize the rest of my layout.
